At Southern River University, freshman Madeline draws attention for all the wrong reasons. Seen arriving in luxury cars and dressed in costly accessories, she becomes the target of roommate Sophie’s rumors that she’s being kept. Sophie expects embarrassment at the Ashford family’s birthday banquet, but instead discovers that Madeline is the one the Ashfords honor most.
